Exhaustion

It's only Wednesday, and I've already worked 36 hours this week... so I'm exhausted. The event went amazingly well, and everyone was extremely pleased. I don't have much more in me for tonight - so I'll just post some pictures from the event.

This is our registration area, and I was in charge of this area during the event... it was my job to make sure everyone that attended had a seat even if they didn't RSVP.

A photo of the ballroom - we had 51 (514 people) tables in here with alternating table linens in a color scheme of brown, orange, yellow... very pretty.

A close up of a fully dressed table.

The event program, and our gift to each guest - a box of chocolates.

Hard to explain to people about taking these pics - didn't want to say "they are for my blog" but I thought that the salad was really pretty... so I wanted to share it with you guys. Sadly, I didn't get a shot of the main course... because well, I forgot... and I thought people would have looked at me funny. Even if my group ate after the event because we ran out of seats for the volunteers.

The dessert was absolutely gorgeous... I loved the chocolates in the heart shape with the gold accents... since the event's name is Heart of Gold.
I'll do my Q&A post tomorrow... I only have one question, but I just don't have the energy to dig around in my email inbox to find it right now. A full night of sleep will do wonders - I'll feel human again tomorrow. I literally fell asleep in the tub earlier... but I did manage to get in a workout when I got home today.

  2. I have a question for you - where do you work and what do you do there? What is your employer all about? I think I remember reading something about non-profit one time..sorry. I haven't had my coffee yet. Words are still challenging. :-)
