An Answer

While I was out running errands today - picking up John's birthday gift (it was a pre-order), going by Walgreens, going to the Library... etc... I got a call from Dr. W. As it seems - the gallbladder will be coming out. Finally, an answer! He's sent my test results over to my surgeon (the one that did my weight loss surgery) and an insurance referral... and I'll be seeing him on Friday at 3:30. From there we'll schedule my surgery.

His office didn't seem very confident that it would happen next week, so I might still be able to go on my trip with my sisters & step-mother to Knoxville, TN next Thursday - Sunday... but I am keeping them on standby because the sooner I can get this done the better.

They said that the recovery time is about a week - so I've got to get it done quickly so that I can be ready to go back to work as soon as possible. Or at least ready when time for teachers to return to work - if that works out for me.

I'm relieved that they've finally got an answer for me, and hopeful that things will get back to normal for me once this thing is out of my body!!

So in the meantime - I'm going to my sister-in-law's house tomorrow to help her get organized, and other than that I'll be reading library books and anything else I can find to entertain myself.
