Oh People!

I'm not feeling well today - so lets just say that work productivity is at a low, and I'm perusing the internet for entertainment. I stumbled across this headline when looking at Fox News -

Chicago Man Arrested for Allegedly Targeting Obama With HIV-Infected Blood
It's only the second time ever that HIV-infected blood has been sent with malicious intent through the U.S. mail system, a spokesman for the U.S. Postal Inspection Service said.

Well, I'm glad they cleared up that it's only the second time... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I get the third degree about what's in my packages when I send of holiday gifts... how does this get by people? I mean it had to be in some sort of cooler being that I'd guess he'd would have needed to keep the blood alive in order for the virus to live that long, right?

I don't know - maybe the criminal is dumb and didn't think that through...

Maybe I'm just watching too many reruns of Bones and Law & Order... oh and the Closer... but I digress.

Honestly - these plots just make me nuts - I mean sure... I'm not a fan of B.H.O. either, but seriously? I just can't imagine how people think these types of things are productive... I mean get out there and protest... exercise your right as an American to tell him what you think - at least as long as you can... until we become socialists. (again with the digressing)

Physically harm the man... no... that's just wrong. It's a hard one to live by, but God commands us to love our enemies.

Luke 6:35 (NLT) Love your enemies! Do good to them! Lend to them! And don't be concerned that they might not repay. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to the unthankful and to those who are wicked.

We should pray for God to lead us through this time, and that he will guide the actions of B.H.O.'s administration - even when we don't see him working through them... he is in control of the outcomes. It's not always easy to be still and wait for God's plan to come to fruition, but we do know that it is not God's plan for someone to harm anyone else out of malice.

  1. Agreed. You don't gotta like 'em but you don't need to hurt 'em! When the presence of God is lacking in someone, you can't underestimate the power of the evil that's in His place. Crazy stuff is going to keep happening. I believe the next 4 years are a great opportunity for Christians to really shine!
