Weekend Pictures

It has been a busy weekend, but I'm so happy about that because it has kept my mind off of all the things that it could have been focused on for the last two days... tomorrow we'll hopefully have some good information and updates to pass along.

Saturday started off with Renee and I getting some coffee and heading to our friend Meredith's baby shower... here is the mommy to be and Renee.

Meredith opening her gifts - she was truly the funniest person to ever watch opening shower gifts. With each gift she explained to all of us how she knew the person and what each thing was that came as part of the gift. It was very entertaining, and sweet to watch.

Here are the three of us at the end of the shower. Doesn't Meredith look great for being about to have a baby?!

We ended our Saturday of girl fun with a progressive dinner at our church... here we are having appetizers along with a game.

We then proceeded to another location for lasagna, salad, and garlic bread - it was fantastic!

We ended the night at our Pastor's house for dessert, and another game - which was ummm... interesting to say the least.

Here is our fabulous Worship Team getting warmed up this morning... my hunky husband is on the far right playing the bass.

This is my class in the preschool area... these are some of the older kids leaving our room to go to their classes.

All three preschool classes come together for a puppet show and to sing songs before going back to our own rooms to teach our lesson for the week.

This is Miss Catie with our two year old class having snack... we have about 4-6 kids each week, and they are a lot of fun. This week we taught them about sheep, which we played with cotton ball sheep, and sock puppets too - they really loved looking around the room for "missing sheep." (The adorable blond with the braids belongs to Renee)
