Go Hockey Moms

I am so incredibly inspired after watching Sarah Palin last night - it was like she put the words together for me... on so many issues - I completely agreed. I was so proud of her last night not only because I think she'd do an amazing job, but also because she handled herself with grace and class.

I was proud of the way she talked about her family, her beliefs and her experience... and found myself getting a tear in my eye when she talked about her special needs son - who is such a blessing. No matter what the situation is with her pregnant daughter - I believe that they are handling the situation with compassion and faith. There isn't much you can do about teenagers - they make their own choices, but it's how you deal with them that makes the difference.

I'm amazed at how little class the other party truly has, as I've watched the events unfold today and all the accusations that have come from Obama's group about what Palin had to say... isn't it interesting how quickly they start complaining when someone calls their bluff.

Isn't it interesting how she used Obama's words "we need change" but how she actually had a plan as to how to do that?! The whole thing is such a joke - because she laid out plans for so many of the issues...but they want to say that she didn't cover the issues - seems to me that she did, and she did it really well.

I was so fired up last night for the first time in this whole process because I truly feel like the McCain - Palin ticket is truly a balanced leadership option with more promise than anything else out there right now. Who better to lead us out of this energy crisis than someone that truly knows what Alaska has to offer in terms of drilling capacity? Who better to lead our country to the completion of a war than a man that knows intimately what the stakes are?

How can anyone deny the experience that comes from John McCain?

How can people truly believe that Obama has more experience than a proven governor that has not only taken on corruption within her own political party, but has reformed government within her own state?

I know that there are people out there that are just as against my views as I am theirs... but today, I am excited about the promise of what my candidates have to offer... and I look forward to supporting them all the way.

  1. I don't agree with much that you say, but you put your point across very eloquently. Best of luck to you.
